The fourth day of the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Athens Open WTA 250 concluded with the completion of the singles first-round matches, while two doubles first-round encounters also took place at Stadion Sports Center.
The Round of 16 lineup is now complete, with Barbora Krejcikova, Clara Tauson, Ann Li, Alina Korneeva, Miriana Tona, Tereza Valentova, Carole Monnet and Aliaksandra Sasnovich securing the remaining spots in the second round of the tournament.
Meanwhile, in doubles action, the teams of Xinyu Jiang / Fang-Hsien Wu and Hao-Ching Chan / Miyu Kato advanced to the second round. The remaining second-round doubles matches are scheduled to be played on Thursday, July 16.
