Inside the Athens Olympic Tennis Centre · OAKA
Stadion Sports Center is located at the Olympic Tennis Center facilities in Marousi and features a comprehensive racket sports setup: 18 tennis courts (including 4 indoor), 11 padel courts, and 3 pickleball lanes arranged around a central pavilion. The venue will host WTA matches on three designated courts, played on outdoor DecoTurf hard court surface — the same surface used at the US Open.

One Center Court seating more than 8,000 spectators, plus two additional competition courts holding over 3,000 fans combined. The WTA singles + doubles finals run on Center Court.
Hard-court inventory across the campus — competition, qualifying, practice and warm-up. DecoTurf throughout.
Four covered courts shelter play through summer storms and the hottest hours. Same surface family as the centre courts.
Off-tour padel and pickleball lanes wrap the central pavilion. Active during fan-zone hours.

Cushioned acrylic, the US Open spec. Medium-fast pace, predictable bounce. Players from grass adjust quickly; clay-court specialists need a day.

5,000 lux on Centre Court at floor level. Tunable for evening sessions and broadcast colour temperature without flicker on slow-motion cameras.

Concrete-and-steel bowl with partial canopy. The bounce-strike-cheer sequence is sharp; PA announcements clear without overpowering.

Metro Line 1 (green) goes direct from Monastiraki to Eirini, the station for the venue. From there it's a 10-minute outdoor walk on tree-lined avenues. Marousi is well sign-posted and the route to the tennis centre is the same one used during the 2004 Olympics.
